Job Title: Fund Management Senior Associate – Private Credit
Location: Boston, MA
Compensation: $95,000–$110,000 Base

About the Role
A leading global alternative investment firm is seeking a Fund Management Senior Associate to join its Private Credit platform, supporting fund operations, investment allocations, and the day-to-day management of private credit vehicles. This role provides hands-on experience across fund structuring, loan allocation processes, cash management, data governance, SPV formation, and cross-functional coordination. The firm values analytical rigor, accuracy, organization, and a strong desire to build a long-term career in private credit fund management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the allocation of new investments across BDCs, commingled funds, SMAs, and SPVs, ensuring eligibility, position sizing, and concentration limits are met.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of fund-level and portfolio-level constraints by partnering closely with Portfolio Management, Finance, and Treasury.

  • Oversee cash management processes alongside Treasury stakeholders.

  • Support new SPV formation, including portfolio construction timing, analysis, and operational setup.

  • Communicate pipeline activity and fund updates to FP&A, providing seamless updates to portfolio managers and senior leadership.

  • Assist with capital calls, distributions, and financing facility amendments in coordination with FP&A and Treasury.

  • Oversee pre-trade loan execution to ensure investments are booked and allocated accurately.

  • Identify fund optimization initiatives related to allocations, liability management, and operational efficiencies.

  • Ensure deal teams produce required documentation, including closing memos and amendment memos.

  • Partner with data governance teams to maintain accurate issuer and asset-level data across internal systems.

  • Participate in onboarding new funds, ensuring proper data flows, reporting structures, and processes are implemented.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in private credit, fund operations, leveraged finance, or related analytical roles.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting, credit markets, fund structures, and leverage facilities.

  • Advanced Excel skills with exceptional analytical and organizational capabilities.
