Fund Accountant – Alternative Investment in Boston, MA (Hybrid)
We’re working with a growing alternative investment firm in the South of Boston that is looking to add a Fund Accountant to its team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience across fund operations and accounting.
This position is a hybrid role and will pay between 80-95K on a base salary depending upon experience and fit plus bonus and 100% paid benefits.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily and monthly fund accounting activities
- Support NAV calculations and investor allocations
- Perform cash and position reconciliations
- Help prepare financial statements and reports
- Assist with audits, capital calls, and distributions
- Work with internal teams and third-party administrators
Qualifications
- 1–4 years of accounting experience (fund accounting, public accounting – Big 4 preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- CPA track or interest in financial services a plus
