Recruiter – Financial Services – Boston, MA (Hybrid, Contract)
We are seeking candidates for a Recruiter opportunity with a highly successful financial services firm based in Boston, MA. This individual will support full-cycle hiring across multiple business units and partner closely with Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, and HR stakeholders. The role is centered on high-volume, entry-level recruiting within financial services, with a strong emphasis on campus outreach and community engagement. The ideal candidate will bring 1–3 years of recruiting or recruiting coordination experience, a strong ability to manage systems and processes efficiently, and a proactive, resourceful approach to sourcing and building candidate pipelines.
This is a 6-month contract position that will pay $28-30/hour (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position offers a hybrid work model, onsite 3-4 days per week in their Boston office.
Responsibilities:

Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, with a focus on recruiting coordination and administrative activities

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates across various roles, with an emphasis on entry-level hiring

Execute internal recruiting efforts, including internal mobility campaigns

Participate in campus recruiting and community hiring events

Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with a high level of accuracy and compliance with EEO standards

Utilize targeted sourcing strategies, including social media and resume databases, to identify and engage candidates

Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR teams to support broader recruiting initiatives and best practices

Ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

1-3 years of recruiting experience within financial services, either in a corporate or agency setting

Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and coordination

Prior experience with campus or community-based recruiting required

Proven ability to source passive candidates using social media and recruiting tools

Experience working with applicant tracking systems (PeopleSoft or Oracle Taleo preferred)

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based recruiting tools

Knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
