Accounting Manager – Private Investment Firm – Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Our client, a highly successful private investment firm based in Boston, MA, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its growing team. This role offers strong exposure to fund operations, investor reporting, and senior leadership, with clear opportunities for growth
Responsibilities
- Review quarterly NAVs, financial statements, and investor reporting
- Oversee third-party fund administrators and fund operations
- Manage year-end audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Support portfolio valuations and quarterly review processes
- Partner with Investor Relations on reporting, fundraising, and LP communications
- Monitor cash flows and ensure compliance with fund agreements
- Drive process improvements and reporting automation initiatives
Qualifications
- 6+ years in public accounting and/or investment management
- Private equity/venture capital experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Advanced Excel; experience with data/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau a plus)
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent preferred
- High-visibility role with senior exposure
- Strong growth potential in a fast-paced environment
