Entry Level Advisor – Wealth Management – Tysons Corner – Onsite 

A growing wealth management firm in Northern Virginia is seeking an Entry Level Advisor to join their client-facing team. This role provides hands-on experience supporting client relationships, financial planning, and advisory operations, with a clear path toward a future advisory role.

The Advisor will work closely with Senior Advisors to support client service, prepare financial plans, and manage follow-up from client interactions. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain exposure to comprehensive financial planning and portfolio management while developing skills for a long-term career in wealth management.

Responsibilities:

Client Service & Relationship Support

  • Respond to client inquiries and correspondence in a timely manner
  • Assist with client onboarding and account administration
  • Maintain accurate client records in CRM and other internal systems
  • Support client transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and service requests
  • Build trust and rapport with clients and internal teams

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Collect, organize, and audit client data to support financial planning recommendations
  • Assist in preparing financial plans under supervision; gradually take on independent plan preparation
  • Participate in client meetings, prepare materials, document meeting outcomes, and manage follow-up tasks
  • Develop technical knowledge of investment portfolios, rebalancing, and reporting tools

Team Collaboration & Development

  • Partner with advisors and operations team members on projects and client deliverables
  • Learn firm systems, technology, and financial planning processes
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and enhanced client experience
  • Prepare to grow into an advisory role through mentorship and hands-on experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; CFP designation or CFP coursework highly preferred
  • Interest in long-term growth into a client advisory role

This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced advisors in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. Strong internship experience and completed coursework toward CFP will be considered. The expected salary for this position is between $75K-$85K plus bonus.
