Director of IT, Application Development, and ERP – Medical Device – King of Prussia, PA
We are currently seeking candidates for a Director of IT position located in King of Prussia, PA 19406. The opportunity is with an industry-leading Medical Device Manufacturer. The IT Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the Information Technology department and ensuring that our company technology systems are reliable, up-to-date, and support our strategy. The Director of IT will report to the COO. All candidates considered must have ERP and Vendor Management experience.
This is a full-time permanent position that will pay $175,000 base plus a bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the IT department, providing strategic direction aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Application Development: Oversee the development and enhancement of cutting-edge applications, ensuring they align with business requirements.
- ERP Management: Lead the management and optimization of our ERP systems, ensuring seamless integration with our operations.
- Technical Oversight: Maintain a high level of hands-on technical proficiency, staying abreast of current technology trends and implementing best practices.
- Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate IT-related risks to ensure the security and reliability of our technology systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as an IT Director/VP or similar senior managerial role.
- Experience with SMB required, 200-person company or less preferred
- Experience leading IT organizations in regulated distribution/manufacturing environments (Government, Pharma, Medical, etc.) is required.
- 5+ years of Hands-on experience in implementing, managing, and troubleshooting cloud-based ERP systems and integrated modules like EDI, CRM, MRP, WMS, etc.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and managing relational databases. Experience with both Microsoft SQL Server both on-premises and Azure-hosted databases required.
