Data Operations Associate
A well-established alternative investments firm is seeking a Data Operations Associate to join their team. This position will be responsible for a wide range of middle-back office operations including developing data and analytics driven strategy to improve operational efficiency for the firm. This position will report directly to the Director for Investment Analysis, and the role offers the chance to join a growing firm. The firm will pay between $135k-$150k, plus bonus and this is a hybrid in-office position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Leverage an expertise in SQL and domain knowledge in financial datasets to drive continuity/improvements within back office operational workflows

Work with key vendors to maintain and create pipelines for scalable data uses

Drive new data mastering and warehousing initiatives within the firm

Track and monitor data quality issues and drive solutions for day-to-day complexities

Deliver coherent advancements and additions to production workflows

Develop strategic or ongoing improvements to reporting and analytics within the organization
Qualifications:

5-7 years of relevant experience at an accounting firm, investment adviser, or administrator

Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Domain knowledge in data structures and life cycles of an investment firm or advisor

Proficiency in SQL required

Demonstrated ability in Tableau is preferred; familiarity with R is a plus

Ability to wear many hats
