Corporate Accountant – Financial Services- Newton – Hybrid
An established financial services company is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support core accounting operations and financial reporting processes. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain broad exposure across general ledger, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and monthly accounting activities across accounts payable, fixed assets, prepaids, and general ledger
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.
- Process invoices and ensure accurate coding, approvals, and timely payments
- Monitor and resolve reconciling items across various accounts, including cash and suspense accounts
- Support credit card expense processing and accruals
- Assist with fixed asset tracking, depreciation, and prepaid/amortization schedules
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Support audit requests and assist with regulatory or internal reporting as needed
- Maintain strong data accuracy and adherence to internal controls
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, financial services industry experience is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
