Corporate Accountant – Barrington – Hybrid – Up to $75K
A large, RI-based organization is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to gain broad exposure across financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, audit support, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Support the monthly close process, including account reconciliations, financial analysis, and general ledger activities
- Assist with inventory and fixed asset accounting
- Help maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
- Partner with external auditors during quarterly and annual audits
- Contribute to financial reporting, operational improvements, and special accounting projects
- Provide analytical support to the finance leadership team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Understanding of US GAAP principles
- Experience with accounting systems/ERP platforms
