Controller
Our client is a privately held manufacturer on the South Coast of Massachusetts. Recently the company unexpectedly lost its controller and needs an immediate replacement. This is a contract or contract-to-hire opportunity. This is a family business. The company is well established with a solid client base. The company needs a hands-on technical controller to finish the year end work and continue to support the day-to-day tactical work. The controller is also involved with setting and implementing the future strategic direction of the business. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree prefereed.
- CPA preferred.
- 5-10+ years manufacturing controllership experience
- Available immediately
- Must have strong technical accounting skills
- Must be willing to work with the executive team on strategic matters
- Ability to work with inside and outside stakeholders
- Ability to work with outside professional firms and vendors
- Ability to mange, hire and mentor staff.
- Initial contract target hourly compensation is $65.00/hour to $75.00/hour.
