Construction Estimator
Daley And Associates is seeking a Construction Estimator for a client who is a very well respected construction management firm with a presence in South Florida. This person will be an integral part of their team and continued success.
The position will pay between 120K – 145K
Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed estimates at all project phases
- Review drawings and specifications to define scope, pricing, risks, and bid requirements
- Level subcontractor proposals and incorporate historical and market cost data
- Maintain organized estimating files, metrics, and variance reports
- Support subcontract purchasing, awards, and contract documentation
- Assist in enforcing safety standards during preconstruction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of estimating practices, construction methods, and cost controls
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with the New York construction market preferred
