Client Service Representative – Investment Management

We are seeking candidates for a Client Service Representative position with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. This Client Service Representative will support existing and prospective clients by responding to inbound inquiries and delivering high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of customer service experience preferably within a professional services environment. 

This is a 3-6 month contract-to-hire position that will pay $20-21/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position is required to be onsite 5 days per week in their Boston office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound phone calls from current and prospective clients regarding products and account information.

  • Process a range of routine and complex financial and non-financial transactions in accordance with departmental procedures and service standards.

  • Resolve basic account inquiries and issues; escalate more complex matters to the appropriate teams for further research and resolution.

  • Communicate with shareholders, participants, broker/dealers, and other parties via phone, fax, and email to verify information, clarify requests, and provide required documentation.

  • Accurately document client interactions and maintain proper call records.

  • Collaborate with internal service center teams to resolve issues and answer client questions.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 1 year of prior customer service experience preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical abilities.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
