Business Data Solutions Analyst – Financial Services – Remote
Daley And Associates is currently seeking a Business Data Solutions Analyst that will play a crucial role in handling various data-related tasks to cater to operational and reporting needs within our organization. The responsibilities will encompass data collection, storage, and hygiene checks, ensuring the integrity and quality of our data assets. Additionally, this person will collaborate with the Professional Services team to design, coordinate, and implement analytical solutions to support their objectives.
This is a 3-month short-term consulting engagement that will pay up to $60 / hour.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diverse data tasks including collection, storage, and hygiene checks to meet operational and reporting requirements.
- Design, coordinate, and implement analytical solutions to support the Professional Services team.
- Develop expertise in understanding strategic data sources and lineage within the organization, leveraging this knowledge to derive meaningful analytic insights.
- Utilize statistical and data science techniques to drive a scientific approach to reporting analytics.
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders within Corporate Audit to fulfill operational and reporting needs.
- Primarily support business as usual (BAU) activities and maintenance of existing solutions, with some involvement in the development of new reporting/solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology, finance, business, or equivalent.
- 2 – 3 years of related financial services experience.
- Analytical, communication, and PC skills, including proficiency in Excel and business intelligence applications.
- Business analyst experience, collaborating with stakeholders to determine appropriate logic for solutions/reporting.
- Data management/data governance experience.
- Exposure to the software development lifecycle, particularly Agile and end-user developed tools.
- Minimum 5 years of experience employing data-driven solutions and automation.
- Proficiency in Tableau and Tableau Prep for data visualization and preparation.
- Experience with Power Apps/Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Proficiency in Python-Pandas and comfort with large datasets, including data profiling and exploration.
