Benefits Consultant
We are currently seeking candidates for a Benefits Consultant position with an elite investment management firm based in Boston, MA. The Benefits Consultant will play a key role in supporting the daily operations, audits, and compliance activities of the company’s benefits programs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and streamlined administrative procedures.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity paying between $55–$62 per hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities:
• Support the daily operations of employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy across health, dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental plans
• Conduct regular audits to identify, track, and resolve discrepancies across benefits systems and processes
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting
• Process premium billing, life insurance claims, and other benefits-related invoices
• Assist in coordinating wellness and health promotion programs for employees
• Compile data and create reports on cost trends, benefits utilization, and related metrics
• Provide additional support as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, including health and welfare, retirement plans, and leave management, preferably within financial services or related industries
• Proven track record in streamlining and enhancing benefits operations
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Workday experience a plus
