Accounting Manager – Energy – West Palm Beach – Onsite 1 day/week
A growing energy company is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations across the business. This role is located in West Palm Beach, and this person will be required to be onsite 1 time per week.
Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including coaching and succession planning

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation processes

Review and ensure accuracy of financial reporting, account reconciliations, and variance analysis

Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX and regulatory reporting requirements

Prepare and present financial statements and performance updates

Partner with Technical Accounting on complex accounting matters and policy interpretation

Collaborate closely with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Regulatory Affairs, Internal Audit, and Shared Services

Serve as a key contact for external and internal auditors
- Support budgeting, forecasting, special projects, and ad-hoc initiatives
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 6+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role

CPA preferred
-
Background in energy, utilities, or similarly regulated industries
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting leader who enjoys strategic ownership and hands-on execution in a stable, people-first organization. The approximate salary range for this position is between $90K-$120K.
