Accounting Manager | Boston, MA | Hybrid
A growing global consulting firm is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This is a high-impact role for a CPA with strong technical accounting expertise who is looking to help build and scale a best-in-class finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses
- Support technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, consolidations, and purchase accounting
- Assist with financial reporting, audits, and internal controls
- Partner with FP&A, HR, Legal, Tax, and external auditors
- Drive process improvements and finance transformation initiatives
Qualifications:
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–7 years of accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge; IFRS exposure preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Multi-entity and multi-currency experience is a plus
Compensation: $130,000–$150,000 base salary
