Accounting Manager (Boston | $130,000–$150,000 base + bonus)
We’re partnering with a fast-growing global consulting organization operating at the intersection of economics, technology, and strategy. The firm advises leading technology companies, Fortune 100 organizations, law firms, and government entities on complex, high-impact business and regulatory matters across rapidly evolving industries.
As the organization continues to scale globally, they are seeking an Accounting Manager to join their Finance team and play a key role in building a world-class accounting function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong CPA who thrives in complex, multi-entity environments and enjoys working on both day-to-day close ownership and broader technical accounting and process improvement initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Own key components of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
- Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations across multiple balance sheet areas
- Support financial reporting and ensure accuracy of management reporting packages
- Research and document technical accounting positions (U.S. GAAP and IFRS)
- Support accounting for leases, accruals, revenue-related items, stock-based comp, and consolidations
- Partner with FP&A, HR, Legal, Tax, and external auditors
- Support audit readiness and external reporting requirements
- Drive process improvements, controls enhancements, and accounting automation initiatives
- Contribute to a modern, scalable, technology-enabled finance function
What we’re looking for:
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5–7 years of accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting experience
- Strong technical accounting foundation in U.S. GAAP (IFRS exposure a plus)
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in multi-entity / multi-currency environments preferred
This is a high-impact role with exposure to complex global accounting issues and significant opportunity for growth as the finance function continues to scale.
If you (or someone in your network) could be a fit, I’d love to connect.
