Accountant – Real Estate Development – Hybrid – Boston
A national real estate development and investment firm is seeking an Accountant. The firm manages a multi-billion-dollar portfolio spanning various asset classes.
This role supports a mixed portfolio of operating and development-stage assets. This individual will work cross-functionally with various internal teams to deliver financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:

Perform monthly accounting close activities, including billing, collections, cash management, and AP coordination

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages (balance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis)

Support development and construction teams with financial reporting, budgeting, and funding requisitions

Prepare CAM/RET reconciliations
- Assist with GAAP reporting, tax support, and external audit requirements
- Develop reporting templates and perform analysis using Excel and property accounting systems
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred

2 to 4 years of experience within real estate, development, or property accounting

Experience with property accounting systems
