Fund Accounting Manager | NYC Endowment Portfolio
Join a highly respected global organization managing a $5 billion endowment portfolio based in New York City. We’re seeking a hands-on Fund Accounting Manager to oversee accounting, financial reporting, audit, tax coordination, and governance for a sophisticated investment organization.
This position will pay between 165-175K on a base salary, depending upon experience and fit
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and financial reporting
- Manage audits, tax processes, and third-party accounting relationships
- Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support governance activities, including Audit Committee meetings
- Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; CPA preferred
- Experience with both fund side and management company accounting is ideal
- 6+ years of Accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills; investment, endowment, or alternative asset experience is a plus
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a hands-on environment
