Senior Finance Associate | $95K–$110 Base + Bonus | Hybrid
Location: Boston, MA
We are partnering with a leading global investment management firm seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join a rapidly growing technology-focused investment platform.
Responsibilities:
• Review quarterly NAV packages, capital account statements, and investor reporting deliverables prepared by the fund administrator
• Review quarterly financial statements, management fee calculations, carried interest calculations, and other fund reporting requirements
• Support year-end audits and coordinate with external auditors and service providers
• Assist in overseeing third-party fund administrators and operational service providers
• Monitor fund cash activity, liquidity, and capital flows
• Support quarterly portfolio company valuation processes and prepare materials for valuation committee review
• Analyze portfolio company financial performance and prepare reporting for internal review meetings
• Respond to investor requests and support ongoing limited partner reporting requirements
• Partner with Investor Relations on fundraising materials, due diligence requests, investor presentations, and reporting content
• Review fund activity for compliance with partnership agreements and fund governing documents
• Assist with process improvement initiatives, reporting automation projects, and technology-driven finance solutions
• Support ad hoc projects across finance, operations, and investor reporting functions
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience within investment management, fund accounting, private equity, venture capital, fund administration, or public accounting
• CPA, CFA, or similar designation is a plus
• Strong understanding of fund accounting, investor reporting, and investment partnership structures
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Workday, Investran, or similar financial systems is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Interest in leveraging technology and AI tools to improve reporting and operational efficiency
