Fund Accounting Manager – Technology Investments (PE)

$102,000 – $153,000 base salary
We are partnering with a leading fund administration platform supporting sophisticated private equity clients to hire a Fund Accounting Manager focused on technology investment strategies. This is a high-visibility, client-facing leadership role within a fast-paced fund services environment.
The role is ideal for an experienced fund accounting professional who combines strong technical expertise with leadership capability and a client-service mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee fund accounting operations across multiple private equity client engagements
• Review capital calls, distributions, management fees, and monthly cash reconciliations
• Validate waterfall models, incentive allocations, and partnership calculations
• Manage preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements and investor reporting packages
• Lead audit coordination and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
• Oversee investor communications, including reporting, capital activity, and portal updates
• Act as a key day-to-day client contact for accounting and operational inquiries
• Manage multiple client relationships while ensuring deadlines and service standards are met
• Lead client meetings and provide insight into fund performance and reporting requirements
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff
• Drive process improvements, controls enhancement, and operational efficiency initiatives
• Partner with senior leadership on onboarding, special projects, and strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
• 6+ years of accounting experience, ideally in private equity fund accounting or fund administration
• Strong understanding of partnership accounting, fund structures, and investor allocations
• Experience reviewing financial statements and managing audit processes
• Prior client-facing or stakeholder management experience strongly preferred
• Leadership experience managing or mentoring junior staff
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
• Experience with Investran preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
