Accounting Manager – Boston – Hybrid
A growing global professional services organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly technical CPA with Big 4 experience to play a key role in financial reporting, technical accounting, and the ongoing development of a scalable, best-in-class finance function.
Responsibilities:
- Lead key aspects of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses
- Research and apply U.S. GAAP and IFRS guidance across a variety of accounting areas
- Support financial reporting, audit readiness, and external audit activities
- Partner with FP&A, Tax, HR, Legal, and business leaders on accounting matters
- Assist with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting operations
- Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support systems enhancements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA required
- 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably Big 4 public accounting experience
- Strong technical accounting expertise and knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Working knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with ERP systems
