Revenue Accounting Manager – Boston – Hybrid
A fast-growing global consulting and advisory firm is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional to lead revenue accounting operations, support a complex international business, and help scale processes in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own revenue recognition and accounting in accordance with ASC 606
- Review customer contracts and assess accounting implications for complex client engagements
- Lead monthly revenue close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting
- Manage deferred revenue, contract assets/liabilities, and revenue-related analyses
- Partner with FP&A, Legal, Operations, Billing, Tax, and external auditors
- Support intercompany accounting, transfer pricing processes, and multi-entity reporting
- Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA required
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including revenue accounting
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606, GAAP, IFRS and multi-currency operations
- Experience reviewing and interpreting customer contracts
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience
