Senior Accountant – Growing Energy & Infrastructure Organization in West Palm Beach, FL (hybrid 2 days onsite)
Our client, a well-established growth-oriented energy and infrastructure organization with a strong regional footprint, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team in West Palm Beach, FL. This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business partnership.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly financial statements inclusive of journal entries, resolving issues, and reviewing results.
- Communicating with key stakeholders to collect input and adjustments needed for the preparation, and accuracy of the monthly financial close and periodic forecast.
- Monthly account reconciliation, variance analysis, and flux analysis.
- Leading the process for internal & external audits
- Due diligence and acquisition integration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge of utility accounting preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written
- Ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex problems
$75K – $100K base salary dependent on experience
