Senior Accountant – Warren, RI – Onsite 4x per week
Our client is a publicly traded company, and they are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role is a key contributor to corporate accounting, financial reporting, treasury operations, and corporate insurance management.
This role follows a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite and 1 day remote).
Responsibilities:

Analyze expenses and manage related accruals across general ledger accounts

Support quarterly and annual external reporting, including preparation of filings and supporting schedules

Own critical aspects of the month-end close, including journal entries, complex account reconciliations, and detailed GL analysis

Partner with internal and external auditors to support audits, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with SOX and U.S. GAAP

Manage corporate insurance programs, including renewals, claims coordination, and risk mitigation activities

Support global treasury operations through cash forecasting, banking administration, and maintenance of compliance documentation
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred

3+ years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
