Legal Technology Training Specialist
We are currently seeking candidates for a Legal Technology Training Specialist role with a well-established law firm located in Boston, MA. This individual will be responsible for delivering targeted, high-quality training across key legal technology platforms to attorneys, paralegals, administrative staff, finance professionals, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in legal technology training, strong communication skills, and the ability to tailor learning experiences to a wide range of professional audiences.
This is a direct-hire opportunity with a base salary ranging from $120,000 -$150,000 (depending on experience). The role supports a hybrid work model (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) in Boston and follows a 35-hour work week.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored one-on-one and small-group training sessions across core legal technology platforms.
- Design, update, and maintain engaging training programs and instructional materials to support system adoption and user confidence.
- Produce polished, professional training resources and internal communications to support technology launches and ongoing learning initiatives.
- Utilize Microsoft SharePoint as the firm’s central learning hub to organize, manage, and distribute training content.
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to support change management efforts, including engagement planning and clear communication strategies.
- Support onboarding for new hires by introducing firm systems, workflows, and best practices.
- Track training participation and learner progress, follow up on milestones, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Adapt training delivery methods to meet varying learning styles and evolving business needs.
- Demonstrate strong organization, responsiveness, and follow-through in all interactions.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a professional training role, ideally within a legal, consulting, or professional services environment.
- Proven success designing and delivering effective training programs for diverse professional audiences.
- Hands-on experience with NetDocuments, 3E, or RocketProforma preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality one-on-one and small-group training for legal, administrative, operational, and finance teams.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a polished, confident, and approachable presence.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to tailor training approaches accordingly.
- Experience using SharePoint and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS) for training delivery and content management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a high level of accountability.
