Human Resources Coordinator- Investment Management- Boston, MA
We are seeking candidates for a Human Resources Coordinator position with an industry-leading Investment Management firm located in Boston, MA. This position will provide support to the HR Business Partner team. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of administrative experience in a professional services organization, prior Human Resources experience is strongly preferred.
This is a 12+ month contract position that will pay $25-30/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 3 days/wk in the Boston office.
Responsibilities:
- Complex and proactive calendar management and detailed materials preparation
- Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings or events
- Schedule domestic and international travel arrangements
- Prepare documents and presentation materials in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Maintain various types of confidential information
- Handle daily mail, expense tracking and reporting, proofreading, edits, and drafting meeting minutes, etc.
- Provide cross-coverage and back-up support to other HR coordinators when needed
- Maintain various HR-specific documents and reports as needed including ensuring accuracy and integrity of employee data, including timely updating of any changes, and serving the team’s liaison to the business on the maintenance of this data
- Produce management and data reports as needed for HRRM and/or business managers (primarily using Workday)
- Assist with ad hoc HR project work, as required, within immediate team and broader HR department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 1+ years of administrative experience within a professional services organization
- Prior work in Human Resources strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote & PowerPoint) with an ability and desire to learn new technology
- Familiarity with Workday preferred
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities
- Ability to work under deadlines and to accommodate last-minutes changes
- Positive, can-do attitude; flexibility; sense of humor
