Title: Trust Operations Cash and Securities Administrator

Compensation: $110K base salary
The Trust Operations Cash and Securities Administrator will provide oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Trust Department. Responsibilities will focus on operational tasks across the department.
Responsibilities:
- Process high volume and high value transactions
- Manage daily processing and control procedures are completed, documented and properly recorded.
- Respond to operational inquiries from Trustees, Trust Administrators and all other internal constituents.
- Performs cash and security movements approvals (wire transfers, deposits, transfers, ACH, checks,).
- Submit processing of invoice generation, reconciliations, and collation of supporting management information reporting in a timely and accurate manor.
- Monitors the receipt of assets, internally and externally generated, including security movements that may be failing at the custodian.
- Produce standard department reports and correspondence such as requests for additional information, verification, account maintenance and receipts and disbursement activities.
- Work with external vendors on project-oriented tasks, such as cash and security activity.
- Facilitate, process and enter cash transactions, securities trading transactions and prepare related general ledger entries, and wire settlements as needed.
- Oversee our payroll vendor and private bank, from set up to day-to-day processing.
- Open new accounts in the Trust System, including creating and modifying client records and events.
- Assist with development, implementation and training for Trust Operations team.
- Reconcile transfers, fee collection, securities and asset transfers, and other department operations activities.
- Backup the Trust Department, operationally, as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience. Eight plus years of progressively responsible related work experience desired
- Expertise with complex financial, legal and banking relationships in a professional services firm
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, managing a team, performing performance reviews and have experience with mentoring and or facilitating professional development exercises for peers and direct reports
- Successful Candidate will utilize extensive custody and brokerage system expertise, knowledge of trust documents, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with multiple people on several projects simultaneously
- Understanding of cash processing with custodian banking, will exercise exceptional judgement as it relates to initiation, opening of account, maintenance and approvals on Custodian system and understand the impact both economic and reporting
- Ability to demonstrate impeccable integrity in personal and fiduciary matters
