Staff Accountant
We are currently seeking candidates for a Staff Accountant at consumer goods co. located in Dedham, MA, 02026. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant accounting and month-end experience.
This is a 6+ month temporary role (40 hours per week) with an opportunity for extension and/or permanent placement.
3 days on-site per week.
Hourly Pay Rate: Up to $ 45.00 (based on relative work experience) within a 40-hour work week.
Responsibilities:
- Post daily cash activity
- Reconcile Accounts Payable
- Reconcile Bank Statements
- Capital account transactions-Fixed assets & depreciation
- Wire payment transactions
- Perform Journal Entries and Adjustments
- Reconcile General Ledger Accounts
- Assist in month-end close responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years’ experience in general accounting and month end responsibilities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Experience with Tableau and Microsoft Access is highly preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
