Social Media Specialist – Investment Management – Boston, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Social Media Specialist position with a top-tier investment management firm located in Boston, MA. This position will work collaboratively with global and regional teams, including writing, design, PR, and compliance, to manage and enhance our social media presence. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of experience in social media marketing, community management, and paid social media campaigns while ensuring all content aligns with regulatory guidelines.

This is a 4+ month contract that will pay $27-31/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 3 days/week in their Boston office.

Responsibilities:
Collaboration & Content Creation

  • Partner with global and regional writing, design, and digital teams.
  • Work closely with writers and editorial teams to develop daily/weekly social posts.
  • Collaborate with design teams to create custom social posts, website modules, and other ad hoc content.
  • Partner with the PR team during bi-weekly syncs to coordinate social media strategies for events, CEO promotions, and PR campaigns.

Content Management & Strategy:

  • Manage and update the Social Media Content Calendar daily.
  • Develop and execute social strategies with internal partners for events and initiatives.
  • Provide channel-specific support for social and search campaigns.

Paid Social Media & Analytics:

  • Manage global paid social campaigns via LinkedIn Campaign Manager, including audience development, content promotion, and reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, generating ad hoc and quarterly reports.
  • Conduct monthly calls with LinkedIn representatives to review campaign performance, optimizations, and platform updates.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all social content adheres to regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Review social posts for compliance concerns and collaborate with compliance teams on Social Media Policy and Desk Procedures.

Platform & Partnership Management:

  • Oversee the Sprinklr partnership and manage the YouTube channel.
  • Maintain and update the SharePoint site for content and assets.

Brand Campaigns:

  • Manage content syndication and oversee monthly reporting and readouts.
  • Update and refresh creative assets, including brand videos, audio ads, and landing pages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in social media marketing.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
  • Familiarity with publishing and regulatory platforms like SharePoint or Hearsay (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret social media metrics, including engagement, reach, and website traffic (experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is a plus).
  • Experience planning and executing paid social media campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
