Senior FP&A Manager – Manchester, MA – FDA Approved Medical Device
A leading FDA approved Medical Device company with a focus to treat critically ill patients with AKI who need dialysis is looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager to their growing team. The Senior FP&A Manager will work closely with senior management to increase a company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plan and providing supporting business analysis.
Responsibilities:

Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business & medium to a long-term financial and strategic plan

Working with functional leaders to build their annual budgets and forecasts

Identifying the business factors that determine business performance and producing models to project long-term growth

Delivering competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team

Analyzing and describing financial and operational results to better understand and communicate company performance to Management and external stakeholders

Utilizing BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance

Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results
-
Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results

Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost-saving initiatives

Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions

Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts

Evaluating previous budgets, and expenditures to develop and implement future budgets

Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cash preservation, cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining of operations

Providing insights to senior management around financial modeling, forecasts and profitability

Building processes in support of sales and operations planning
Skills and attributes:
-
Minimum of 10 years of relevant analytical experience

Significant analytical skill set, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools

Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages

Professional qualifications such as a CPA or CFA designation
-
Degrees with a concentration in Accounting and Finance are preferred
