Part-Time Bookkeeper- Professional Services- Needham, MA
We are seeking candidates for a Part-Time Bookkeeper position with an industry-leading professional services firm located in Needham, MA. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years’ accounting experience and a strong understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and trial balance accounting functions. The bookkeeper should be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong time management skills. All candidates considered must have relevant QuickBooks experience
This is a permanent position that will pay $40-45/hr within a 20-hour workweek.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the general ledger
- Prepare journal entries
- Generate reports
- Prepare financial statements
- Reconcile bank statements
- Answer customer inquiries and questions
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of Corporate Accounting experience
- Highly proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
- Experience with general ledger, journal entries, and trial balance
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong Attention to detail
