Marketing & Event Planning Specialist- Financial Services- New York City, NY
We are seeking candidates for a Marketing & Event Planning Specialist position with an industry-leading financial services firm located in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of marketing, event planning, and communications experience preferably within the financial services industry.
This is a 12+ month contract position that will pay $33-36/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position is required to be onsite once a month to assist with project needs.
Responsibilities:

Assist with the planning and execution of large scale and small scale investment conferences

Manage program deliverables, including marketing communications, collateral, registration/invitation copy/promotions, event logistics and sales communications

Support smaller industry conference deliverables through booth coordination and premiums

Provide on-site support for additional events needed

Submit event invoices and maintain event tracker

Maintain the events/conferences calendar with dates, costs, venues, etc.

Maintain premiums, quantities, stock and refresh items on Harte Hanks and Salesforce

Measure return on investment for all programs and help provide analysis reporting
Qualifications:

BS/BA degree required
-
2-3+ years of marketing, event planning, and communications experience

Expertise with events and/or marketing, ideally within the financial services industry

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

MS Excel, PPT, Word experience required

CVENT and Salesforce required
