Sales Associate – Investor Relations
A leading private equity firm located in Boston is seeking a Sales Associate to join their Investor Relations team. This position will primarily be responsible for conducting analysis, maintaining prospect data and pipelines, and assisting senior Investor Relations team members in assessing performance and market positioning. This position has a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Sales prospect pipeline development (by region, type) and CRM pipeline maintenance/reporting. Build a model to support strategic outreach

Consultant mapping (research, field consultants by geography)

Oversee broad data management tasks for Coverage Officers in Salesforce.com to support business development and investor related activities

Oversee fundraising records and data integrity, coordinate follow-up process and correspondence with LPs or prospects

Conduct market analysis, initiate research, respond to inquiries on a wide variety of topics, and as opportunity arises participate in prospect and client meetings.
Qualifications:

Strong academic credentials (BS/BA from highly-regarded institution)

1-2 years of experience in asset management, consulting or financial services’ related marketing

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior personnel across the firm

Strong analytical skills; comfort organizing and interpreting large amounts of data

Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to take on any task, no matter how small
