Interim Accounting Manager – Consumer Goods – Concord, NH
We are currently seeking candidates for an Interim Accounting Manager position located in Concord, NH. The opportunity is with an industry leading consumer goods brand. The ideal candidate will have revelant experience with bank reconciliations and month-end close. This role will be hybrid (4 days remote, 1 day on-site).
This is a 5 month contract position that will pay $70/hr – $80/hr within a 40 hour work week.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate bank reconciliations
- Assist with the month-end close process
- Analyze and review financial reports
- Prepare journal entries and other accounting transactions
- Audit and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Provide support to other members of the accounting team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in corporate accounting
- Proven experience with bank reconciliations and month-end close
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
