HR Manager – Boston MA
My client, a highly successful Investment Management firm located in Boston is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing 25+ individuals and support a variety of functions including, recruiting & hiring, performance management, training & coaching etc. If you are an experienced people manager interested in joining a global, matrixed environment, keep reading!
Responsibilities:
- Work with hiring teams to create job descriptions
- Work with recruiting to ensure sourcing of qualified candidates
- Assist with onboarding
- Construct feedback vehicles & manage related process
- Coordinate leaves & coverage plans for absences
- Provide training & materials that enables rapid and ongoing assimilation of core competencies
- Provide ongoing learning opportunities to promote employee engagement and potential career advancement
- Deliver training on new technologies and procedures
- Implement team-building activities
- Evaluate staffing levels and identify potential efficiencies and creative solutions across businesses
- Develop relationships with stakeholders and firm leadership
- Ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree required
- 10-15+ years of HR experience
- 5+ years of managerial experience (ideally managing 10+ individuals)
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift priorities
- Must be willing to be onsite 3-4 days/week
