HR Business Partner, People Operations (Hybrid 2-3 days in office)
A successful multi-stage investment management firm, located in Boston, is actively searching for a dynamic and results-oriented Human Resources Business Partner to join their team! This person will work closely with the Chief People Officer to implement and support the firm and its Human Resources department in the daily people operations. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute the firm’s people programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and training and development.
- Review, track, and document HR policies and compliance with mandatory requirements and company policies. This may include anti-harassment training, professional licensures, and certifications.
- Support the recruiting process, collaborating across the different departments and teams of the firm to ensure effective Talent Acquisition practices, including having an understanding of skills and competencies required for opportunities.
- Conduct background checks, reference checks, and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implement and deliver new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field. Advanced degree a plus
- A minimum of 5 years of human resource management experience in a matrixed organization.
- Prior experience in financial services and/or life sciences industries is ideal. Experience at the intersection of both a plus.
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid model (2-3 days in office).
