Electrical Controls Engineer
Our Pittsburgh based employee centric manufacturing client is growing and looking to add a electrical controls engineer to their Pittsburgh team who would have the responsibility for designing electrical controls for customer specific capital equipment orders. Knowledge and Skills:
- Create and maintain electrical schematics (NEMA and IEC) and electrical panel drawings using the following software:
- AutoCad 2018, AutoCad Electrical, SolidWorks 2021
- Ability to create and troubleshoot PLC/HMI programs using the following software:Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Allen Bradley FactoryTalk View Studio, Siemens TIA Portal V15
- Experience creating risk analysis reports
- Technical writing skills for creating procedures and manuals
- Experience working with MS Office Applications
- Experience working in a team environment
- Preferred experience working on hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
- Preferred experience working with SAP
Qualifications Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Controls/Systems engineering
- Candidate to have minimum of 5 years of working experience designing, developing, and maintaining electrical machinery
- Knowledge of Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery (NFPA) a plus
