Digital Product Manager – Financial Services – Boston, MA
We are seeking candidates for Digital Product Manager position with a highly successful financial services firm located in Boston, MA. This position will work closely with the Product Development and Fund Management teams to understand fund characteristics and data display requirements. This position will be responsible for making sure the firm had the appropriate data and content on our websites for each fund to meet regulatory and commercial data requirements. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of product management experience within investment management and MUST HAVE experience with ETFs and Mutual Funds.
This is a 12+ month contract that will pay $50/hr within a 40-hour workweek. This position is required to be onsite 4 days/week in the Boston office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide global support for the daily management of all products, including annual audits, fund launches, regulatory changes, and daily data monitoring.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. ETF and Mutual Fund product information, ensuring accuracy of text and data on websites and fact sheets.
- Navigate differences across country sites, templates, and data constraints, while addressing text nuances and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with data providers to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Lead and support quality assurance testing for key projects, ensuring high standards are maintained.
- Establish strong relationships and work closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and enhance processes.
- Foster teamwork and drive consensus among stakeholders and project team members.
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly tasks based on project timelines and priorities.
- Daily: Monitor data feeds and promptly address escalations or inquiries, providing thorough research and responses.
- Weekly/Monthly: Manage projects such as fund launches, regulatory changes, and audits, including compliance submissions and system updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of product management experience within investment management
- Experience with ETFs and Mutual Funds is REQUIRED
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Strong, proven product and project management skills, especially in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working on multiple projects at any given time
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn different applications if necessary
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
