Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Our client, a private diagnostic radiology practice in Manhattan specializing in a wide range of imaging modalities is currently seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join their team. This person will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound examination process.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures (General, OBGYN, Small Parts, Vascular) and invasive ultrasound guided procedures .

Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound examination process.

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition. Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both with patients and within the team.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and practices.
- Contribute to a positive work environment through active participation in team meetings and initiatives.
Qualifications:

Registered by the ARDMS and 2+ years of hands-on experience performing ultrasounds.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of ultrasound equipment and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Commitment to patient care and safety.
Pay Range: $50-$55/hr
