Corporate Controller (Remote)
A PE-backed SaaS company is actively looking to bring on a Corporate Controller to their growing team. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of accounting experience with a major focus within the SaaS space. A CPA license is required for this role. Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Overseeing monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close processes (ensuring compliance with GAAP)
- Manage the annual audit process and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors
- Oversee the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and all general accounting functions
- Ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition practices in line with ASC 606 and other relevant SaaS accounting standards
- Partner with the CFO and executive team to develop the company's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and international tax regulations, including sales tax, income tax, and other financial compliance matters
- Must have 10+ years of relevant accounting experience: SaaS experience required
- CPA is required for this position
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
