Corporate Bookkeeper – Real Estate Firm – San Jose, CA
We are currently seeking candidates for a Bookkeeper position located in San Jose, CA. The position is with an industry leading real estate firm. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records for our company as well as AP/AR functions. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and that financial statements are updated on a regular basis.
This is a 3+ month contract to hire opportunity that will pay $28-$30/hr within a 40 hour work week.
Responsibilities:

Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial aspects of the firm

Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks

Assisting in the preparation of regular financial reports for management

Answering phone calls and greeting visitors
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred

5 years+ of experience in bookkeeping or accounting

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficient with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage

Proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
