Controller – New Role!
We’re working with a reputable, family-owned business, northwest of Albany, NY with a consistent history of success. They are immediately seeking a Controller to oversee all accounting and financial activities. Competitive salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including AP,AR, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for senior management
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring audit-readiness
- Drive continuous improvements in financial systems and processes
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA or CMA preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Construction industry experience is a plus!
