Contracts Attorney
We are currently seeking candidates for a Contracts Attorney opportunity with a highly successful Investment Management firm located in Boston, MA. The Contracts Attorney will partner with the legal team, and will review, draft, revise, and negotiate corporate agreements (simple and complex) for the firm and its subsidiaries. The Contracts Attorney will be involved corporate agreements related to goods and services, including, but not limited to, SaaS and cloud services, consulting, commercial, software licenses, statements of work (SOWs), employment searches, and professional services.
This is a 3-4 month temporary position, paying $70-$85/hour (depending on experience).
Work-Model: Hybrid (on-site 3 days and remote 2 days/week)

Responsibilities:
- Partner with the legal team in reviewing, drafting, revising, and negotiating various corporate agreements for the firm and its subsidiaries
- Work with multiple teams throughout the organization, and assist with contracts and agreements related to goods and services (SaaS and cloud services, consulting, commercial, software licenses, statements of work (SOWs), employment searches, professional services, etc.)
- Navigate competing deadlines and maintain a high-level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Contribute to high-priority and high-visibility initiatives, operations, and relationships
- Identify, address, and resolve complex legal and compliance issues
- Support special projects, additional legal matters, and general corporate proceedings as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (JD) (Required)
- 5-10+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating corporate agreements and contracts
- Previous investment management and/or financial services industry experience
- Proven history of success working with a variety of corporate agreements (simple and complex)
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Great organization, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience utilizing contract management systems – Icertis experience a plus
