Client Services Associate
We are currently seeking candidates for a Client Services Associate opportunity with a highly successful Investment Management firm located in Boston, MA. The Client Services Associate will join the Global Client Service team and will play a key role in the production of marketing materials for client and sales engagement activities. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of related experience in financial services and/or investment management industry.
This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with strong potential to extend. This role will pay between $25-$28/hour (depending on experience), and will support a hybrid work-model, consisting of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with operational and administrative responsibilities, and supports the Global Client Service team in the production of marketing materials for client and sales engagement activities.
- Contributes to content creation process via project management of partner teams, ensuring that relevant productions SMEs are working to correct deadlines and data and brand parameters.
- Collaborates with senior leadership, managing directors, and business partners across Distribution regarding the build and usage of Client and Sales Meeting Materials.
- Utilizes automated systems to gather necessary materials while maintaining and applying business and compliance standards.
- Supports the creation of customized sales and marketing presentations for full spectrum of institutional investment based on knowledge of the products, benchmarks, and other data.
- Creates ad hoc materials, including due diligence, product, etc., to enhance sales process.
- Assists senior team members in the production and distribution of client review books, including providing customized data, and correspondence. Proofs figures for “reasonableness” and accuracy.
- Fields inquiries, evaluates and prioritizes urgency of requests, and determines which information is appropriate to send to the sales prospect or client.
- Utilizes the CRM database as central resource to maintain and track all appropriate contacts and activities within assigned territory. Generates regular and custom reports.
- Develops, communicates, and implements workflow procedures relative to sales and relationship management functions. Communicates issues or trends to the manager relative to workflow, operational, or compliance issues that arise in course of job responsibilities.
- Partners with Client Services Team in driving event coordination and planning efforts for various external events, including roadshows, product focused events, and industry conferences.
- Communicates with external vendors and works within department budget. Supports the coordination and production of all materials. Organizes and executes regular and specialized mailings to established contact lists.
- Delivers customized lists for targeting and time sensitive communication as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 1 – 2+ years of relevant financial services or investment management experience.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Great organization, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Outlook for calendar management.
- Proven ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
