Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Our client, a private diagnostic radiology practice in Manhattan specializing in a wide range of imaging modalities is currently seeking a Breast Sonographer to join their team. This person will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound examination process.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures and invasive ultrasound guided procedures within the breast imaging department

Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound examination process.

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both with patients and within the team.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and practices.
- Contribute to a positive work environment through active participation in team meetings and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required. Specialty in Breast Sonography (BR) or equivalent preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in breast ultrasound imaging.
- Manual dexterity to operate ultrasound equipment.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of ultrasound equipment and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Commitment to patient care and safety.
Pay Range: $50-$55/hr+, based on experience
