Audit Senior (Remote)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Senior to join our remote audit team. This role requires extensive experience with clients in affordable housing, non-profit, or healthcare sectors. As an Audit Senior, you will lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and provide valuable insights to ensure compliance and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Leadership: Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of audit services.
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, and maintaining strong, professional relationships.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices, including GAAP, GASB, and other applicable frameworks.
- Reporting: Prepare and review audit reports, financial statements, and other documentation, providing clear and actionable recommendations to clients.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risk areas, developing strategies to address potential issues and enhance client controls.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5+ years of audit experience, with a strong focus on affordable housing, non-profit, or healthcare sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
