Audit Operations /Tax Senior (Hybrid, Virginia/ Relocation Option)
A successful and growing asset management firm, located West of Norfolk, Virginia, is actively seeking an Audit/Tax Senior to join their growing team. This position is responsible for a mix of audit, tax, client relationships and accounting operations. The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of audit, tax, or accounting operations experience within the financial services realm. Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Responsible for financial statement review
- Market research and client presentations
- Assisting with audit and tax procedures as needed
- Working with 3rd party custodians and vendors
- Assists in maintaining an operations function to support the execution of multi-asset investment portfolios, including cash management, wire set-up, trade execution, portfolio reconciliations, performance reporting, audit and taxes
- Must be proficient with Excel
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Master’s Degree or CPA preferred (Master’s Degree will count as additional year of ‘professional’ experience)
- Must be willing to work onsite 3 days a week in the Virginia office
This is a full-time position that is offering up to $130K base, depending on experience, plus bonus potential.
