Associate Recruiter – Telecommunications – Burlington, MA
We are seeking candidates for an Associate Recruiter to join a highly successful telecommunications company located in Burlington, MA This position will support the division’s talent needs and will provide talent acquisition support to various business units by identifying external and internal talent to potentially hire. As an Associate Recruiter you will partner cross-functionally to deliver excellent talent acquisition support and drive success by providing a best-in-class experiences for candidates, recruiters and hiring managers. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of human resources or recruiting experience.
This is a 5-month contract position that will pay $30/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the interview process, including scheduling in-person, video, and phone interviews for multiple recruiters and business hiring teams, as well as all related meetings, including debriefs.
- Collaborate with the TA Program Manager on campus recruiting efforts and initiatives by attending career fairs and campus engagement events and assessing entry-level and intern talent.
- Assist in facilitating the summer intern program in partnership with Business Leads and HRBPs.
- Manage confirmation and follow-up correspondences with candidates regarding recruiting status via phone and email.
- Maintain job descriptions and compensation information within all systems.
- Support the TA Operations Manager with the administration of the employee referral program, recruitment marketing (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor), vendor management, and budgeting.
- Provide recruiting support to Recruiters and Senior Recruiters based on volume and capability, including reviewing resumes, conducting phone interviews, and making recommendations to Recruiters and hiring managers.
- Process invoices and purchase orders for the TA/HR Team as needed for various expenses such as candidate travel, agency fees, training programs, and other costs.
- Manage and maintain all reports to support the Talent Acquisition team, as well as additional ad hoc reports as requested.
- Facilitate new hire orientations while ensuring a high-quality onboarding experience.
- Coordinate the internal recruitment process as needed to ensure internal candidates receive a first-class experience.
- Support various ad hoc projects and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1+ years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Experience working with various HR systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
