Assistant Controller (Onsite, Florida)
A successful hotel and hospitality franchise, located in Palm Beach, Florida, is actively seeking a skilled Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join their team as an Assistant Controller. The ideal candidate has 3-8+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality, real estate, resort industries. Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions (i.e. AP, AR, payroll, GL etc.)
- Preparation of analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Supervise and lead a team of Staff Accountants
- Responsible for leading annual audit efforts
- 3-8+ years of accounting experience
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required (CPA strongly preferred)
- Hospitality, real estate, hotel/resort industry experience necessary
- Must be willing to work onsite, 5X a week
